Multiple Consoles in my Home

Now that I dont play as much as I used to my 2 Boys have mostly taken over my Xbox One and they Love playing together. However not all games have Hot seat option. If I were to buy a Second console I know i could share games on both of them but. Would I have
to buy duplicate copies of all games or would one copy be enough for multiplayer games. For example PvsZ GW2 and Titanfall 2. And would 1 gold subscription be enough for those 2 consoles or would I have to pay for 2 at the same time?.

A single console can have multiple accounts set it as their home console. So yes, it is because your console is still set as their home console.

 

Home gold for multiple consoles at home on same network?

home gold works for multiple accounts in the same console. What about it being shared by the two consoles I have in my home. Is that not the same purpose as home gold?

 

You would make the main console your home console. This way the games on the main console could be played on both.

Also, you would only need one Gold subscription. Just add everyone into your "Xbox Family" done from the settings menu.

You could share digital games and the Gold subscription between the consoles; however, for any disc games you would need multiple copies to play at the same time, one per console.

 

here's a better understanding of it because I recently purchased a second Xbox one for my home....my stepson had his first and his mom ways renew his live account every year so what I did is have home login on my Xbox and set it up as his home Xbox so it
can share his Xbox live account so no matter who plays on my Xbox one will have live access....so since his account have live access no matter what Xbox he signs on with will have live access....also I'll have access to ANY downloaded games he buys I'll be
able to download that game to so we actually buying one getting one free and buying one live account and getting one free lol. So the only thing you need to do is make the Xbox your boys play on your home Xbox to give the live access and just sign into your
