Multiple Back compat issues

My first issue is with halo reach and halo wars, since installing a recent xb update these games no longer work offline every time I insert the disc it says 'this game is not playable here'. However if I connect to xb live they work perfectly.



My second issie is when I launch forza horizon offline it loads up to the main menu but when I press start it just gets stuck in the loading game screen forcing me to quit the game, as with my first issue if I connect to xb live the game works fine.



I have power cycled multiple times and cleared my cache but the issue persists.

Back Compat Disc Issues

@Mister Cizl; Yes it does easily and internal.

@dadwhite; Followed all but the clean disc suggestion. Discs are clean but some are scratched which is what might be causing the reading issues.

Was afc for roughly a week or so and halo 4 was able to download up to 57% while I was away.

 

Back Compat region issues?

Availability for backward compatible games can, as you've encountered, vary by region. You can see if a game is available in your region by checking the list of

backward compatible games and making sure your region is selected. If it's not, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and look on the bottom left for the globe with the language/region selected and choose that to select the appropriate region.

Let's focus on the two Halo games first so that we can offer the best help. To make sure, are you playing these games on the same account that originally purchased them, or is there another Xbox Live account on your Xbox One account that originally downloaded
them? If you haven't already, I recommend deleting the games and re-downloading them to see if there's any change.

 

I own the 2 halo games on disc and they work if im online.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games as suggested by Mister Maka?

Also, let's have you try clearing your Xbox 360 local storage on your Xbox One console. Start at your Xbox One dashboard:

• Open the Guide menu
• Scroll down to Settings
• Select all Settings
• Scroll down to System
• Navigate over to Storage
• Select "Clear local Xbox 360 storage"

Give those a shot and let us know how it goes.

 

Uninstalling the ganes isnt an option for me at the moment as I dont have internet access, woukd clearing the storage remove my data? If so then im unable to do that option as well.

Clearing Xbox 360 Local Storage won't remove the game from your Xbox One. It will remove any local saves, but those are accessible from the cloud so long as you're connected to Xbox Live. Unfortunately to fully troubleshoot this you will need an internet
connection to re-install the game.

 

I should point out that I own 2 other back compat games but I own these digitally and these work perfectly fine offline.
