Multiple Accounts on the same Email

Hey so a friend of mine is having issues, he had an account for several years with money and information on it. However we had to reset his xbox 1 as an error came up, now whenever he tries to use the old email account it comes up with a completely different
account all together. Any suggestions or things Xbox mods can do? If asked I can provide as much as I can, I’ll turn on notifications so hopefully there won’t be much time on replies.

However we already tried the lost account process, all it did was make sure the password was new. It still signed us into the new account, I will attempt to make contact with the Support team. Again thank you for the quick reply!

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you friend downloaded his account back to his console, but it is not the account that he normally uses. The ambassadors, moderators and volunteer moderators do not have the ability to manage
accounts. We have a support article which provides troubleshooting for
recovering an email address. You friend needs to utilize this article since he is trying to recover his own account.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, we suggest having your friend reach out to the
Xbox Support Team. They will look up the account based on his gamertag and attempt to verify the account with him. Once the account has been verified by the support team, they
will be able to provide him with his account information. We will provide steps on how to contact the support team since our support website was recently updated. Be sure to let us know the results!

Select Contact us
Select Account & profile in the first drop down box
Select I need a Microsoft account in the second drop down box
Select Next
Select Chat online or Request a call

Each account has to have a unique email address. There is no way to have multiple accounts connected to the same email.

I have the same problem as maredvirus62 I have two xbox live accounts under the same email. one is a free membership and the other is a xbox gold accound so when I sign into the email it only shows the free account. I want it to show me my SquintyPlague55
profile that has xbox live gold. but i can't figure it out what do I do?

Im having a similar problem. This account "CloakingJet" is a ghost account; it has no information on it what so ever but it has been tagged to my email and now takes priority over my acctual account on this same email address. I want to be able to view my
actual profile since it has all my downloads on it but for some reason I can't figure out how to change it. I want to get off CloakingJet and back to my main.
