    Hello everyone,

    In the xbox group search for GTA V (German) I found one person with multiple accounts (all 0 gamerscore and specific gamertag) threatening people who are killing other players in-game, doing money glitches etc, to report them 7 million times.

    And yes, he won't do that, but I just got two messages telling me about a report. And as I messaged that guy asking him why he threatens other players for that and spreading misinformation ("I work together with all the companies") I am pretty sure that
    he reported me with his multiple accounts.

    He seems to be just a person who is taking the game way too serious, but I don't want to get some strikes just because of that. What should I do? I already reported both accounts I know.

    I'd appreciate some replies!

    I think there is a system where you have to of played on the alt account with you and at least played for some time because other wise you going to get people who make bot accounts just so you get banned. Yeah he is taking the game to serrious but you
    should be fine as you cant relly get done for it.

    He has used these accounts in the last week to mass report me and now i'm comm banned for a week.

    He has told my friends that he intends to keep doing this till i'm console banned.
    If you are being harassed by a single account, report that account and block communications with that account, by using the block feature on the account's profile page.

    If the person uses multiple accounts to get around bans and your blocks, temporarily set your account's privacy and online settings to "Friends only" on
    https://account.xbox.com/settings.

    That way, only people from your own friend list can now talk to you.

    As for "mass reporting": It doesn't work like this. If your gamertag gets reported multiple times in a short period of time, the reporting service consolidates multiple reports into only one report, that simply "bubbles up" faster in the reporting queue.

    The Enforcement Team member only sees one report, no matter how many people "mass reported" you, or if only one person reported you.

    However, each report has data and telemetry from your and the other consoles attached as evidence (for example a text message that was reported is attached to the report as evidence).

    If the evidence attached to the report shows that you did nothing, the Enforcement Team member won't do anything. You will NOT be suspended, even if you were (wrongfully) reported.

    However if the evidence attached to the report shows you violated the Code of Conduct or the Xbox Live Terms of Use the Enforcement Team will act on that report. No matter how many (or how few) people report you.

    It says on the message it's a console 'suspension' that's my fault for the wrong word choice, it isn't you till the 28th but I can't think of a single thing I could have done to deserve a console suspension.
    Console suspensions usually happen, when multiple accounts "misbehave" on that console (e.g. a person has multiple accounts, and got suspended on one account, and continues to misbehave on the other accounts to get around an account suspension), or if there
    are other strong violations against the Terms of Use (for example "Marketplace Theft", where you use accounts that don't belong to you are used to get games you shouldn't have access to), or if the console has been used for cheating or otherwise manipulating
    Xbox Live.

    And as Smwutches said above, each Enforcement Report is checked and investigated by a real human being with the help of data and evidence sent in with the report. For example, if a message gets reported, that message is sent in with the report as evidence.

    Also, whenever multiple people report you for one and the same thing, these multiple reports get combined into only one report, but that single report moves up faster in the reporting queue. So it doesn't matter how many people report you.

    If the evidence sent in with the report shows no violation of the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct, nothing will happen to you, and the people that reported you, will get their "trustability" reduced, which means reports they send in, will move up slower
    in the report queue in the future.

    However, if the evidence in the report show, that you violated the ToU or CoC, they will then ban your account, unless you used multiple accounts to get around previous account bans, in which case your console can get suspended for example.

    No matter how often one person or multiple persons report you (or your Bio or Gamertag):

    These reports are joined into one single report, as otherwise the Enforcement Team would have to work on multiple identical reports for one and the same thing, slowing them down.

    So it doesn't matter if one person reports you once, or one person reports you 10.000 times, or 10.000 people report you once, or 10.000 people report you 10.000 times.

    The Enforcement Team person will only see one report.

    The only difference is, the more different people report you for one thing, the faster the report is looked at.

    After the reports have been consolidated to one report, a real human being looks at the report and then decides, if what has been reported violates the Code of Conduct.

    If you have a "harmless" Gamertag, nothing will happen. Even if thousands of people report your Gamertag or one person reports your Gamertag multiple times.

    As long as the Gamertag does not violate the Code of Conduct, the only thing that happens is, that those people that report you incorrectly are getting their trust level decreased.

    Similar to the story of the kid that cried wolf, if someone sends in incorrect reports, the less likely it is that new reports coming in from that person are "correct".

    The reports are still being looked at, but they move up slower in the reporting queue that reports from people that reported actual violations of the CoC.

    if there is "only" one person bullying you, and you know the account of the person, block and mute that person.

    If you don't know that person's account, you might want to go to
    https://account.xbox.com/settings
    and set your online and privacy settings to "Friends Only", so only your friends from your friend list can see you, and you become "invisible" for anyone else (including the person harassing you).

    As for the person bullying you on the other platforms: Check that platform's online and privacy features, if you can block the person there.

    However, as Steam, Uplay and the likes are not Xbox related, we can't really help there.
