    Multiple 360's


    So I'm kind of a newb at this, but we have recently had a second 360 brought into our home. The original is an older system with a wired connection, the new one is a wireless. Our problem is that when then new system connects on my roommate's account, it
    knocks me off of XBL. Do I just need faster internet speeds (we are at Charter's minimum), or are we not able to use two systems through the same router?

    Xbox One and 360 on same router - NAT type strict on 1 open on the other

    I had this on an old router I had with multiple Xbox 360's. In the end I bought a gaming router and it solved the problem with multiple Xbox One's and Xbox 360's connected. I opted for Netgear WNDR37AV since it got decent Amazon reviews and mentioned the
    NAT in some of the reviews. Works like a charm.

    So I'm thinking of buying the latest Xbox360....

    Why buy multiple 360's? Since you already have one, I'd put that money towards a PC or something else...

    You can use the same router , i'm thinking that your bandwidth is too small , and you'd either need a new router , or a faster internet connection. You may want to contact your ISP.

    Yes, and it probably does. The 360's NAT detection method is not as sophisticated as the One's, and the 360 has been known to erroneously report open NAT when behind multiple layers of NAT.

    Some routers can have issues with multiple x1's. I had this issue and nothing fixed it. I bought a netgear r7000 and now have no issues. I have 2 x1's and 2 360's in the house that are sometimes all on.
