multiplaying games at your home with 3 contollers

thanks for the reply George, how do I do this guest thing ?please talk to me like I'm in kindergarten because I am when it comes to xbox, its it a one time guest register thing for all games? if not why couldn't the fix this issue with a update. you learn as you go I know so if their is a link please send I haven't been able to find one. some games have multiple player with no do this or that instruction. just one controller works and the rest don't aggravating

Hello Bill and Happy New Year, yes you can play with two or more controls on your Xbox, but for this the game will have to allow local cooperation of two or more people like the game Overcooked for example, and to add more players on the console will have either create accounts as guest or each of the participants log in with their own Microsoft account on Xbox.

Hello again, to add a guest is pretty simple, turn on your Xbox One when it's on the home screen sign in to the account that's already on Xbox, then go to the Avatar (photo) of the active account and choose Add or Swap then choose add guest.

This will result in a guest account that can be synced to another control if other players already have a Microsoft/Xbox account with Gamertag choose: Add New.

Possibly the game your are playing does not support split screen multiplay.
