    Multiplayer Youth Protection PES 2018


    Dear all,

    recently bought "Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" for our XBox One and we were immediately confronted with the problem that all game modes which require some mutliplayer interaction cannot be played at all.

    The corresponding message from the system is as follows (freely translated from German):

    "This game mode cannot be chosen, as XBox Live doesn't allow multiplayer for this profile. For activation, the following conditions have to be fulfilled: the youth protection needs to be deactivated."

    Thus, first of all I went through all my profile- and system-settings, but as expected: youth protection is not active and multiplayer sessions are allowed. It also cannot be a matter of age restrictions as I was born in 1983. Finally even added some credit
    card information, as I've read in some forums that this might do the trick. But the problem persists anyway.

    Another hint from other users was to delete all local game data and to remove all existing accounts from the XBox to start from scratch. This we haven't tried so far, as it seems a little bit inappropriate to lose all stats, games and settings, etc. just
    to overcome this "youth protection" which in fact isn't even active in here.

    So, is there any moderate solution to get this thing to run?

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! just to clarify, are you talking about changing your

    Privacy and Online Safety settings on the Xbox One     and changing a child account into an adult account? You cannot change a child into an adult, you can however, give the child account adult account permissions so that they are able to play certain games.

    You can try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and
