Multiplayer Problem for MCW10

For some reason it will not let me join my friend in multiplayer, whenever I try joining it says "Unable to connect" I restarted my internet, nothing, I restarted MC, nothing, I restarted my PC, nothing. I can join my server and she can join my servers
and I can join the other public servers like MinePlex, but it just won't let me join her for some reason, I also told her to invite me and that still didn't help.

Most likely then. I myself can't load the game up now. I patched it this morning now its asking for another update which doesn't install.

My mate cannot play COD online. He says he has no multiplayer option at the start screen and he can't join games. Odd, I don't know what to suggest to him. He is downloading fifa currently, so he can't try a different game, or is that the problem.

Can anyone help?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Is this only happening between you and that one friend? It sounds like a NAT issue from my experience.

Before trying out anything extensive, like
port forwarding, I recommend you and your friend unplug your modem and routers for a few minutes to let hem reset.

Yes this does only happen between me and my friend, unpluging the routers didn't help, and for some reason everytime she restarts her computer it lets me play but if I exit minecraft and come back it won't let me join. So I have to make her restart her
computer AGAIN.

 

Have you tried restarting thw PC and try again?

This sounds like a NAT type issue, so ports may fix this.

I do recommend to set up Ports on your router as "XBF Chris J " stated (or contact your service provider
so they may set up the ports).

Please check out
Network ports used by Xbox Live on Xbox One for the list of ports needed.
