    My daughter is trying to play minecraft online with her friends, but keeps getting an error message. I have set her account to allow multiplayer and joining clubs, along with any other permission she might need. She's signed out and signed back into her account, but it still gives her the error message. What am I missing?

    She's playing on her laptop, but I'm not sure if she's playing the Java version or Bedrock version of minecraft.

    I had her check her purchases in the store and it says she owns Minecraft for PC Java & Bedrock edition.

    Please double check what minecraft version is the one that your daughter play
    I ask this because if I recall correctly, in order to play Java edition you need to link a credit card to the account

    Dear Microsoft the problem with Minecraft W10 described above happens even for adult accounts. Of course I've tried also with child account with required permissions. The same happens in both cases. So it's not related to child's account settings if adult
    account cannot connect to the multiplayer servers. Please do something with it.
