multiplayer on 1 xbox gold account online

Hi

I'm trying to figure out if I can have 2 players with my paid up xbox gold account and play online games together?

EG: me and my son.

We had the family account years ago but m$ canned that as it was too good a value for people.

Now my son is old enough I wanna play games online with him.

Can it be done - is a guest account the only way?

If so, any URL to how to do it?

So am I correct that the 360 lost the family pack and it has gone to the One

So if someone can clarify, if your'e still using an XBOX 360 with multiple accounts/users on one console. Each account/user requires a gold membership subscription to play multiplayer online? Or has XBOX360 also adopted XBOXONE's 1 Gold Member for multiplayer
to be enabled for other account/users on the same console?

The online multiplayer is a feature limited only for Xbox Live Gold user on Xbox Consoles. If you are playing on PC you don't need gold at all for online multiplayer.

Please note that Free Xbox Live trials are often included with new consoles and will allow you to play online.

Gold membership sharing is available on the Xbox One console. To share your membership with him simply make sure your gamertag is set as Home on the console and then add your son to the Family. Both of these things can be done from the Settings menu.
