Multiplayer just not the same

Hi anyone else dissapointed in multiplayer these days and were its heading now days with all the trolls and boosters what happened to all the true competitive gamers and the good games like bad company 2, cod4, 5 halo 2, 3 and gamebattles turned into a
online daycare center with all the immature lil kids miss the good old days might have to stick with campaigns for awhile

Battlefield 3 start up issues

It cant be the disc...firstly it isn't just the multiplayer disc, it is both multiplayer and the campaign disc. I have not used the campaign disc in over 2 months. They are both doing the same thing at the same point.

I just copied in english because same problem here. In fact I have 4 friends who also can not access multiplayer. Anyone know what's wrong?

 

Played hours and hours and hours of COD, BF4 and Titanfall and came across 0 trolls or boosters.

 

im guessing u play regular then i play hardcore and its terrible although never had a problem on titanfall besides having really bad kids on my team

 

I haven't enjoyed competitive FPS multiplayer since Tribes 2.

Any other online FPS is just a kid's game in comparison.

 

I don't have a problem with boosting, in most games, it doesn't make you a better player it just unlocks things, what annoys me, is the lack of proper team work, this could be fixed with some clever match making but its to easy to keep it random.

Plus i know a lot of kids who are better than adults and treat other players with a little respect, and I know a lot of adults, who are the biggest *** you can imagine online.

 

Wow, game battles, that brings me back, tried that with some friends during RB6:V days. Too much work to just find good matches.

It's been almost a decade now & still Halo 2 Clan Matchmaking reminds the highlight of online console gaming.

Now we got games like BF4 that needs to beta keeping a single squad together.

This is not a new occurrence. I seem to be lucky with not playing against boosters, but back in Call of Duty 4 days there was a 1v1 game mode called Cage match I think, and if you went into it you had a 80% chance of joining someone who wanted to collect
free headshots. As if.

 

You just learn to get use to it. It's not just adults but kids on Xbox. We come from a range of different countries, backgrounds, ages, generations, attitudes, ethnicities. I find peps on Halo less of a troll than definitely COD BO2. I avoid peps who boost,
very fowl language, serious hackers and who are mean, or too noisy. At least 75% of my online experience is good. Some older peps complain about how we are in Party chat instead of Game chat and there are some good reasons for it. Party Chat has better bandwidth
and a more stable voice connection than game chat where it can turn into static garble sometimes. COD B02 I must say has much more stable game chat than Minecraft.

 

Mostly play in parties with mates but if I do venture out into the wild I just mute the annoying people. Rather have a bit of chatter than complete silence.

 

Could be you have just gotten older and have become intolerant to childish antics that plague multiplayer matchmaking.

 

And it's only going to get worse. The kids of this generation are out of control, so I don't want to know what the next lot will be like.

 

I hate boosters; they may think that what they're doing is harmless, but in reality, they're shorting the team in the process, which can in some cases affect the outcome of the match.

Earlier this evening, I was playing BF4 on the Metro map and saw an enemy up in the ceiling shooting down at my entire team through a hole in the ceiling (which is physically impossible to get to BTW). In doing so, he locked down our entire spawn and a single
minute into the match set the tone for the entire match as we were literally stuck outside of the Subway completely unable to get in to capture the control points. Cheaters... *SMH*
