Seems lately that know one can join a game with me on minecraft. Its been going on for awhile now and its getting frustrating to say the least. There is a couple ppl who have no problems joining my maps,for example ; one of my friends used too join but the
last few times he has tried it wouldnt let him.

Multiplayer Issues.

Is something going on right now? Its not letting me join any parties. xbox live is lagging to load profiles and some MP games cant get info from live for me to start to find a match. Its not my internet. This has never happened before. Can anyone help?

Multiplayer issues

For nearly 3 days now I haven't been able to participate in any multiplayer functions of any kind. I haven't been able to join others when invited nor have others been able to join me when invited. I haven't been able to join random co op play either. Everything
else is working fine...purchasing, downloading, signing on, single player game play, achievements, the whole nine yards....multiplayer is the only one not working. This is being experienced on my xbox one. I also have a 360 which isn't experiencing this problem.
My son has been playing Plants vs Zombies multiplayer with absolutely no issues.

I spent 2.5 hours yesterday with xbox support(live chat) troubleshooting the problem. The xbox Rep was very professional and I have nothing bad to say in that respect. We tried everything the Rep could think of and it's still not working. He said the next
step would be to contact the Advanced Networking Dept at Xbox for their advice. Am I going to have to spend another 2.5 hours on this!!!! I've spent a FORTUNE on xbox products and services and I'm not happy!!!

Sorry to hear it. Do all the people who can't join have a Gold membership?

Yes everyone has a gold account that I'm aware of. They can join other ppls games

Thanks. The next thing to check would be permissions. Does your account have the permissions set to allow others to join your games? Are the other peoples permissions correct?

Ok, try this. Both you and your friends turn off your consoles then power cycle your modem/router by unplugging for 10 seconds. See if that helps

Having similar issues. Tried contacting support via chat but it doesn't allow me on. I can't figure it out. Have you had any luck?

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox privacy settings.

Based on your description and since you're able to change the privacy settings means that your account is an adult account. For us to isolate the case regarding the error you received, kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

Note: A child account can't access its privacy settings.

- Clearing the cache and cookies of your browser.
- Changing browsers.
- Disabling extensions / going incognito or in-private browsing.
- Disconnect from the VPN or Proxy server.
- Use different devices and network services.

Then please update your Xbox privacy settings again according to the official Xbox website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help...ttings by selecting View details & customize.

"Sign in to Xbox.com.

Select your Gamertag, and then select the More actions button (…).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & Online Safety.

Select the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab.

Review the current settings and update all of the options as "Allow" and "Everyone", and then select Submit to save the changes.

Note: You must select Submit at the bottom of the page before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't submit the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved."

Wait up to 24 hours to make sure the changes will be applied.

After signing out, sign back in then check if you will be able to access your game's multiplayer feature.
