Multiplayer issue's PLEASE REPLY ASAP

Hello i have Black Ops when i go to play it, it say's connecting to multiplayer for a bit then it stops and say's servers are down when i know they are not, i look on the website for the defcon and its at 5, i have friends playing on the game that live
in my town, also i can play it on other xbox's not mine though, so im wondering if it's my console, I've deleted the update and downloaded it again and it still doesn't work .

Hello, have you had this issue with other games or is it specific to Black Ops? Also, are you able to connect to zombies online? If you are able to connect to zombies online, then your multiplayer profile may possibly be corrupt. Although, if you aren't
able to connect to it, then it's most likely in relation to connection.

 

Nope no issues with other games and my internet in very fast also it won't connect to zombies either

 

Alright, then it's probably in relation to black ops saves being corrupt.

A way to check this is by following these steps:

1) Go to the Xbox Guide by pressing the big X in the middle of the controller.

2) Scroll over to the Settings tab.

3) Hover over System Settings and press A.

4) Hover over Storage and press A.

5) Go to All Devices and press A.

6) Press A on Games and Apps.

7) Find "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and then press A while hovering over it.

8) Find where it says "Call of Duty: Black Ops Save Game". Now if there is more than one, then that means that you have played Black Ops on more than one account, if there's only one then skip to step 10.

9) If there are more than two Call of Duty: Black Ops Save Game, then find the one where your Gamertag is under how much data is being shown on the right-hand side.

10) If there is a yellow exclamation point where it says Call of Duty: Black Ops Save Game, then it means that your Save Game is corrupted. Now, if it is corrupted, please hover over the Call of Duty: Black Ops Save Game that you'd like to fix.

11) Choose the Option Delete, and I know it seems that it's a "heavy" option, but all you have to do after deleting the Save Game, is starting up Black ops again, and just play as you usually do.
