Set communication and multiplayer

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Settings > Account.
   
2. For yourself, select Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details and customize > Communication & multiplayer.

If you’re experiencing issues hearing your friends or connecting to multiplayer games while on the Xbox network, this could be due to your network connection strength or network address translation (NAT). We recommend having an open NAT type when trying to connect with others on the Xbox network. To check your NAT type:

• Press the Xbox button  to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings. Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

Great answer Dizease. MS has confirmed there will be more Xbox Live servers for Xbox One. This should help support larger numbers in multiplayer and multiplayer games with no lobbies like The Crew. ^^
