(Multiplayer) Game intrusion

Dear Microsoft team,

The other day I was enjoying Sea of Thieves with a friend, just the two of us, when he had to leave due to an appointment. We still

had a few things to do when he left and I decided to go finish that before quitting the game myself. I was just doing my thing when I got a message from some random person I've never seen or spoken to before on the xbox app. I was busy so I decided to ignore
and continue my business when the guy was suddenly in my game as crew member collecting stuff that I had laid out. I rounded everything up and went straight to the outpost to cash everything in and quit the game.

It's not that it bothered me that I suddenly had to share my loot but this person, that I don't know at all, just joining in felt VERY intrusive to me. A bit like someone walking into your home helping themselves to all your stuff and with no way to get
rid of. I haven't had anything like this happen to me in the beta, and before it happened to me today I wouldn't have thought about it. But the game gives no notification at all that someone is joinging, a way to block or a way to kick. If someone decides
to intrude there's nothing you can do. The Sea of Thieves support team told me they can't do anything about it and I'd have to go to you, so here I am.

I've been looking for a Microsoft/Xbox app setting to block unknown people from joining your game, but have not been able to find it. Please let me know what I can do about this. I really did not like this person showing up next to me out of nowhere and
what it felt like barging in. It made me really uncomfortable and I don't want it happening again.

Xbox app, antivirus false intrusions.

Panda should be a Windows 10 ready av. Since you have GOLD protection I suppose you can contact their support team and report the false positive.

If you decide to remove Panda av and change it, Windows Defender should be enough for a vast majority of people. You can search for free alternatives for additional security just googling "Windows 10 antivirus".

I have Avira Free Edition right now and everything is working as expected.

Based on your description, it seems that the player who entered your game is using a MOD to loot from another player. I understand all your point about this concern. I recommend that you report the player who entered your game without your consent. Our Enforcement
