"Multiplayer feature is blocked"

I have found no solutions to this issue. I have only found multiple threads with suggestions.

So far I have tried:

1. Restarting
2. Hard reset
3. Made sure multiplayer is not blocked
4. I have no family settings
5. Multiplayer connection is fine
6. My account is signed in and have correct home Xbox
7. Xbox live did not expire

I have no idea of what to do about this anymore.

In college dorms attempting to connect with an ethernet cord

Is your university's internet fast enough to play multiplayer? If it is, then possibly your university blocked some of the Xbox Live features.

 

MCC multilayer issues?

My Xbox is connected to Internet and shows no problems with multilayer connection. When I try to find an online multiplayer game it says "multiplayer is not allowed....feature is blocked due to xbox live settings..." Is there a problem with the service or
is something wrong on my end?

Which region are you physically located in? Could try an Xbox Live Multiplayer Test in the Xbox One's network settings and post back with the specific error code and message you receive? Error codes will look similar to either XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000. Additionally,
try following each step on our Multiplayer Connection Error Troubleshooter and let us know how it goes!

I'm in the North America Region. I did the multiplayer test before posting and there were no errors.

 

Thanks for the information. Could you walk me through what the specific issue is? Are you getting any errors when you try to play a multiplayer game? Is this only occurring in a couple games, or all games? Are you seeing errors when you try to sign-in to
your profile?

Additionally, is 'Ninimen' your main Gamertag? If you're experiencing this issue on a different Xbox Live profile, please be sure to post with that Gamertag instead.

Within the network settings on your Xbox One console, please be sure to post back each of the results of your 'Detailed network statistics' as well as the make and model of both your router & modem.

Having all of that information will give us a better understanding of what the issue is and go from there!
