Multiplayer Connection Test

Ever since the update on 06/16, I can't connect to Xbox Live servers. It's says I'm connected to the internet and I can see my friends, but whenever I try to run a multiplayer connection test it says it can't perform the task and gives me the error code
0x0000000000000000. To add to this, my Xbox keeps trying to randomly sign my account in, but can't because it says there's no internet connection, which is odd. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Please test the network connection as well as the multiplayer connection and let me know the result.

Settings > General > Network Settings > Test Network Connection > Test Multiplayer Connection.

I have the same problem as Western Spy Guy, I tried disconnecting network and console already several times but still not working, any other tip in how to fix this?

Hi there Western,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand there is an issue with the internet connection on the Xbox console.

To help clarify the issue:

Have you tried an ethernet connection?
Have you powercycled the Network Hardware?

I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting article: "My Xbox One is getting randomly
disconnected from Xbox Live".

Try this and let us know the results.

Thank you for reaching out. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console. [Keep my games and Apps]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter. Hope this helps!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
