Multiplayer connection doesn't work on Halo 5?

I tried testing interest and multiplayer connection and it said there isn't any problem, but I can't seem to connect onto Halo 5 multiplayer lobby or get into any multiplayer game mode. The problem started since 2AM PT today; 06/24/2016. Please help or advise
on the problem.

Check for services outage

In the case Halo 5 or Xbox Live services are down, there’s no way you can play the game so wait. While service outages don’t happen very often, they do go down from time to time and that’s when you need to be patient.

To check if Xbox Live services are down, visit this link

To check if Halo 5 services are down, visit this link

Check your connection
If your console isn’t connected to the internet, you won’t be able to play any multiplayer game, including Halo 5. So, check your connection on Xbox One to make sure everything is right.

Restart the console

If none of the solutions from above solved the problem, you might want to restart your console. To restart your Xbox One,
follow these instructions:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, and wait for five to 10 minutes.

Restart your Xbox One, to do that, follow these steps:

Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select Restart console.

Select Yes to confirm.

After another five minutes, plug the modem in, and wait for it to get back to its normal state.

Try to connect to the multiplayer again.

Halo 5 Multiplayer suddenly doesn't work

For two days now (since Friday night) Halo 5 and the MCD has been bugging out for me in a variety of ways:

For all of Friday evening, connecting to the Halo 5 Multiplayer lobby was hit or miss, mostly miss. When I DID get in though, none of the playlists were shown, and a bunch of error messages and garbage text was displayed in certain areas of the screen.

At the same time, none of my req information or player record was available either.

When I finally have gotten in to the social multiplayer lobby, and it works as far as getting me into a game, I'm immediately hit with extreme lag to the point that not even pressing any buttons on my controller, I'm randomly teleported all over the general
area of the map I'm in.

Needless to say, all of this has made playing any games virtually impossible.

Any idea why this is happening?

I've cleared the cache several times via a hard reset, and this problem remains.

UPDATE: Now when I can even get into the lobby, an error message appears: : "there was a problem with the dedicated server - please try again later"

Are you getting any specific errors when trying to play Halo 5 multiplayer and have you tried changing the search area from "balanced" to "expanded" ?

Sorry, I did have a fix for this but they recently *** up the method. I now cannot play games like Halo 5, Forza 6, Black Ops 3 because of this (i can never connect to the game servers)... You used to be be able to launch the game and then go into Settings
-> Network and go offline for a few seconds and then go right back online. BUT now it signs you out after you go back online. Not to mention the dashboard and stuff does not 'refresh' and will still stay offline.

If only I could find out what the system actually does during the offline/online process because it somehow enabled me to connect to these game servers after I did it.

Im having issues joining games multiplayer online servers ever since i updated my console july 1st from the preview program i check my internet nothing seems wrong i know ever since i got update it mess up there was no issues before its been like this for
couple of days now im not able to play games with friends i know im not only one with the issue it suxs to pay for games when you cant even play them can

Halo 5 doesn't support splitscreen play but The Master Chief Collection does so will every upcoming Halo like Halo 6 will support it.

It was strange that 343 felt they should change the local multiplayer for Halo 5. Although it has faced a lot of criticism I don't see them changing it for future releases. But it has not been confirmed

I wish more games would embrace local multiplayer. Even Overwatch doesn't have it

I guess this is 1 area CoD excels in

Never herd of that one , as always first thing would be a hard reset of the Xbox , modem and router...is that the only game that is doing it ? ...if so , I would first delete my profile the re download it , then maybe un install the game and delete all the
data as something maybe corrupt (don't delete cloud data , just console at first unless you don't mind starting over)
