Multiplayer connection bad

my multiplayer is not connected but my internet connection is fine. I can join a party invite but not a game invite. What can I do to fix this?

Bad multiplayer connection

15 down and 10 up should be enough for gaming. Try and temporarily use Ethernet to see if its a Wifi issue, if so then it could be a few things such as interference from lots of wifi devices or other routers nearby. If it does work better wired, then you
could try and buy a power line Ethernet adapter, they work pretty well as long as your house has decent electrical wiring.

Bad multiplayer connection

I am currently gaming off of WiFi because my mom doesn't want me to run a 20ft Ethernet cable to my Xbox in my room. I have 15 down and 10up but COD AW BF4 and hardline are just unplayable. I didn't not and do not have these problems with my 360 any solutions?

Sorry to hear about the network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?

Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

Download Speed

Upload Speed

Latency

Packet Loss %

Wireless Strength (if applicable)

Modem Manufacturer

Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

NAT Type

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

I recently had a network adapter blow in my laptop, do you think this could be a possibility? Is there multiplayer connection hardware that couldve gone bad in my xbox or is this going to be a wifi issue?

You can contact your school administrator to allow you to configure the router, although I doubt they will access.

Somtimes you have to restart your xbox xr forget and reconnect to the internet
