Multiplayer connection bad, all other download speeds fine.

I have recently moved to a new construction house and have had multiplayer connectivity issues since. my house has strong Wi-Fi with strong download speeds on all devices including my Xbox, but if I try to play multiplayer games I am capped to 1 megabit
per second download speed and pretty bad latency. I have ruled out my router, modem, and ISP. I have Port forwarded to any and all recommended ports for Xbox. I have set up a static IP address. And I have completely bewildered the tech support of everyone
I've spoken to on all ends. I was last recommended by Xbox tech support to post my issue here in hopes that there may be an answer circulating out there.

Why am I able to stream movies, even at 4K, on my Xbox and download games at speeds of around 100 mbps, yet my multiplayer connections won't go above 1 Mbps? My rocket league rank is taking a major nose dive lol

My speeds are relatively unchanged when on wifi, just slighlty higher ping. Butnmy set up is hardwired. And the download speeds are only an issue with gaming, nit any other service (4k streaming is perfect).

Did you recently moved to a new address/ISP or get new hardware at your house? Or did this just start out of the blue?

Hey,

One thing to look at is the input lag from your TV or monitor, best thing to do is if possible change your TV settings to GAME mode. This lag may be the cause of your lag whilst playing online. You can check this by following these steps:

Go to Settings> General> Network Settings> Test Speed and Statistics

Let the test run and you should see all your statistics, what may be affecting yours is Latency. If this is too high say around 150 or above this will be affecting your online gaming. 20 ms is considered a very good latency number.

It could also be the amount of people using the internet at the same time. Multiple users could cause your ping to spike or slow down your internet by quite a lot.

You may want to try clearing the MAC address. To do that just go to your network settings, click advanced network settings, alternate MAC address, select clear, then reset. Your console will restart at that point.

Is it all games that give you this issue or just a few particular ones?

I have has many problems like this. My internet speed is fine but once i get into a multiplayer match it lags. Could also be other players or a bad server. Also need to look our for DDos
