Multiplayer chat issue

Wife and I are playing a multiplayer game with Turtlebeach headsets on so our toddlers can sleep peacefully in the other room. Problem is, once we put the headsets on we cannot hear each other talk. I assumed I can set up a party chat or Skype to talk
to the person sitting right next to me, but it doesn't work that way, I have to buy another console or start yelling. Xbox please fix this issue.

I'll be using it for multiplayer chat at the least considering my tritton ax pro+ headset will not work for chat

College campus party chat/multiplayer issue

Hey guys,

Hoping I could get some help. I live on a college campus, and I've been having some issues with Xbox Live. I don't have too many issues with joining general multiplayer games, but it seems like when I want to party up with some friends I can't connect to
party chat and I also can't enter multiplayer games with my party. I get a 0x807d0106 "Due to network limitations, you can't join party chat right now" error on party chat. I've tried various fixes I've found on the internet, to no avail.

-My NAT type shows up as open, and my multiplayer connection shows up as being fine.

-My console and controller are fully updated.

-I'm using an ethernet connection.

-I've done a hard reboot on the console and cleared the alternate MAC address plenty of times

-I've cleared the disc & blu-ray persistent storage

-According to my detailed NAT info, my network is not behind a NAT

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. I'd blame the college internet, however, my 360 works just fine with parties. If you need further info, just ask.

Same thing happening to me. Outta nowhere my party chat members said they couldnt hear me at all or sometimes it sounded like if I was whispering. Only happens with stereo headset. If I use the ordinary chat headset it works just fine.

I receive the same error when trying to access that link. Try this one: https://account.xbox.com/settings/home (just /home added at the end).

Hi Rouge,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with the companion app. A moderate NAT type can cause issues with any multiplayer including chat and all that.

Forgot to mention that i CAN play multiplayer on BF4 but with MUCH trouble, disconnecting and other issues, and chat will NOT work. Though that is kind of obvious
