multiplayer: cant play crossplatform XB1 and xb360

WHAT CONSOLE THEYRE ON" my rich friend gots the xbox1 and i got a fresh brand-new 360, last one from best buy. (they had to retrieve my xbox from the catacombs of the best buy warehouse or something) ANYWHO, my friend has diablo3:ROS for xbox1 aaand i have
diablo3:ROS for 360, but we couldn't party. whats the deal? is that cross-console multiplayer thing ONLY for backwards compatible games? looking through the backwards compatibility list, it doesn't look like there are many multiplayer games. some games i would
like to see on the list: Peggle2, titanfall, diablo3:ros, how about some street fighter x tekken, GTA5, thanks.

P.S. i would like to see 360 die a little more "elegantly" and not so abruptly. coz i haven't played 360 in 3 years since my first 360arcade got RROD playing GTA5... I would think there would still be a market for the 360, since its soooo "affordable" now
and games are soo cheap. And xboxLIVE only helps 360 if there is more multiplayer games. especially cross-console.

P.P.S. i bet you could win over those nintendo people if you make games similar to smash bros or kart racing. the roster may include: 1) Banjo-Kazooie 2)BigDaddy 3)LittleSIster 4)MasterCheif(halo) 5)Wrex(MassEffect) 6)Tali 7)Garrus 8)Beck(Mighty No.9) 9)ms.

maps, costumes, etc. ...each character has different HP, DEF, ATK, attack range, Mobility, weight, skills, and special skills. campaign mode(easy, normal, heroic, legendary), multiplayer mode, boss fights, party games...and cortana can narrate the menu screen
and tutorial. boom...let your imagination run wild with that.

Problems streaming videos from PC (WMP) to XB1, same videos play on 360 fine

Why does XB1 have a much harder time playing videos/movies from my PC than my XB360?

I have a collection of movies and videos that I stream to the XB media player from my PC (Windows Media Player streaming). XB1 has problems with many videos/movies that work perfectly fine on the XB360. I notice the larger the file size, the worse the XB1
handles them. Some videos stutter so badly they are completely unwatchable. Again, the exact same videos play just fine on the 360..

*For reference: Both XB1/XB360 are on the exact same wired network as my PC and both test very fast with the network tester so my network/connectivity/bandwidth is not the problem.

 

Hi is anyone still having problems with xbox live.

Finally after 9 days everything is working on Xb1 and my XB360 never stoped working so i used that will i waited for MS to fix the problems. its not your network, modem or router all it is is MS xbox live being down.
stop making yourself crazy if your XB1 isnt work play on your XB360 until MS get the new XB1 working right!!

crossplatform multiplayer among Xbox One and Xbox 360 is available only for backward compatible games for now. Here you can find a list of the games available for backward compatibility:

Diablo 3: ROS is published for both consoles and although may seem like they are the same game, instead they are different formats of the same title. The Xbox One Diablo 3:ROS game is not compatible with the Diablo 3:ROS Xbox 360 game.
