    I renewed my gold membership about 15 minutes ago and I still get "an xbox live privilege limitation prevents you from accessing this feature." There was no notification that my gold had ran out, but then I looked and saw that it had. So I paid for another
    year. The money has been taken out of my account but I still can't play online and still receive the same message. I tried talking to xbox over the phone like in the old days but they got rid of that, and I can't even tell anyone what my problem is. I have
    to select the problem on the support link they give, but my problem isn't even listed on there! Assistance from either a human xbox associate or someone with the same problem would be a help please. thanks.

    Thanks for posting on the Forums with this situation. I understand you've renewed your Xbox Live Gold Subscription but you are still unable to access your Xbox Live Gold features. Can you go to your Microsoft Account Services & Subscriptions page and sign
    in to check the status of your Gold? If it is showing active there you may want to go to the "Restart Console" options in your System tab of the Xbox Guide (little gear symbol).

    Give that a try and let us know with a reply how it goes.
