    I just set up an account for my son I gave Xbox gold and now my sons are trying to play fortnite together and it says he can’t play multiplayer. I put my email and password in for him to authorize this but it keeps going back to the screen saying he needs
    permission!! Help!!!

    On the Xbox One only one account needs to have a gold subscription in order for all accounts to have multiplayer privileges. On the Xbox 360 each account needs to have a gold subscription to access multiplayer. This account that you are posting from is
    shown as silver so it would not be able to play multiplayer online. Is there a different account on the One that you purchased Gold for?

    Thanks for the reply, but active gamertag is displayed for 'Silver' Account and also silver account can access multiplayer.

    Although, when the user switches from Silver account to Gold account, user is unable to access Multiplayer.

    Is this an Issue?

    To be able to play multiplayer you will need to change the setting for multiplayer to allow. It can be found under Online & Privacy settings.

    If the account is a child account then a parent account will need to change these settings as mentioned.

    its cuz spec ops isnt related to multiplayer at all...its in the memory..not the account like the multiplayer level is.
