    Multicolored Squares/Rectangle Flash on Gen 1 Xbox


    Every once in a while, part of my screen will show multicolored squares and rectangles for a couple frames before they disappear. I'm on an original Xbox One from the days of terrible Gen 1 controllers.

    I assume my Xbox's graphics processor is starting to die, but I want to make sure that is the issue.

    Anyone else having this problem and can add on it?

    How do i make my square monitor show a rectangle

    i have a square monitor and i want to make it like a rectangle monitor so it isnt stretched up

    Hi

    If your console is in a well ventilated location with nothing blocking the top or rear of the unit, then this could well be hardware fault with the console's graphics hardware.

    You will likely need your console repaired/replaced.

    The Xbox One is more Wide than long and the PS4 is a complete Square, I like rectangle design more than square, but yes the PS4 is alot smaller, I dont understand how with everything compact into such a small space with nearly no fans that the ps4 wont overheat.
    I think its a good chance that The X1 wont overheat and not the kinect either considering it has a fan in the back too. We will see

    Bring back Hardcore War game mode (as in CoD: WaW)

    I'm not sure how well it would work on smaller maps that COD has had lately (at least excluding DLC). Much like Rush in Battlefield, War generally requires bigger maps with a more rectangle or linear shape to it, rather than circle
    or square shaped.
