    Hi community, so does anyone know if a multiple HDD enclosure can work with the Xbox one s? I'm thinking about purchasing one but I wanna know if it's ok before I buy.

    USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 ?

    Most externals have 2.5" HDDs in them. Just take the HDD out of the USB 2.0 enclosure and put it in a USB 3.0 enclosure. Here is a link to a USB 3.0 enclosure for $20:

    You might be able to find one cheaper but that's the cheapest I found from a quick search. Once you switch cases just format it to NTFS and you'll be good to go.

    Search term for xbox 360 case?

    I've been looking for an enclosure for my Xbox 360 S, and I can only find HDD enclosures. I want something like the case for a computer, which houses all of the components inside, but I don't know what exactly to type in the search bar? Anyone know?

    ive had that twice in the past, one time was caused by the hdd enclosure being a cheap usb 3.0 enclosure and not worth the time and the other time was due to the usb 3.0 cable being dodgy.

    some cheap external hdd enclosures draw to much power from the usb ports, the xbox shutting down is over current protection, could be a cable fault or the actual hdd controller, replace the cable or enclosure.

    do you have any other devices connected via usb to the console too.

    is the external hdd powered off the usb port, what make of hdd enclosure is it, could be trying to sap a little to much juice from the port as the internal wifi is on the same bus.
