Multi disc drive

Gamers are kinda lazy so wouldn't it be amazing if they added a multidisc system? Like the ones they have in cars where you add your favorite games to your console all at once then instead of going up and digging through games and switching out and putting
back away before you play , instead just dashboard and select the new game already in the console. Either 3 or 5 discs at once? I would pay a bit extra for that alone.

Why doesn't it work already? You could install multi-disc games onto the 360 hard drive.

New Vegas doesnt support multi disc on xbox one they are releasing multi disc functionality in the near future

Back in the day I always wished I could have 2 drives, one for a film and one for a game, or if I have 2 games I'm enjoying at the time. Now that digital is all the rage though, I don't think it's something that needs to be done, even though I won't buy
digital.

 

Not something that I would pay extra for but if it came with the console I wouldn't moan though I have no general problems leaning forward and changing a disc quickly.

 

Not really appealing anymore especially with the inclusion of digital media. There's really no point. It's not that hard to get up, switch a disc and play the game. It's more costly to do this anyways. I for one would probably never use it anyways.

 

I don't think dual drives would be a bad idea though. That saying that you could have one for DVD / Blu Ray and one for having games but then again, like you say, it would be more costly which means the console would be more costly too.

DO NOT OPEN YOUR CONSOLE!!!!!!!

BE WARNED this type of mod is frouned upon and can result in stiff punnishment. (or it just voids the waranty) something fun to tinker with on an old console though.

Yeah Ben did do the Disk Changer it was pretty cool.

 

To be fair it would just be something else to break. If The alternative is to get up off the couch to change a game so be it.
