Muffled secondary voice in headset on Xbox chat

I have a question, and I know this seems off the wall. But for the last year of owning my Xbox One s two terabyte edition I have been getting voice interference while using my Xbox chat. It always sounds like someone talking over my friends. It's not very loud but I have a keen sense of hearing and I can hear it. The weirdest thing about it is it comes out of my right earpiece and not the left. I have been hearing that phones that run on 5 gigahertz can actually interfere with Xbox audio. I also hear Bluetooth items can interfere. Now I'm kind of hesitant on the Bluetooth idea because both my controller and my headset are hardwired. Does that really make a difference? Or is it the five gigahertz phone maybe the issue. Or is it the wiring in the building because I live in an apartment. A lot of questions arise when this happens so I would definitely like a second opinion. Thank you

I understand that you have an issue in regard to the bad audio while you are in Xbox chat. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

I went to the Xbox official and gather the important information about this matter. If any chance you already tried it, feel free to let me know and we will do further investigation.

Disconnect the headset or unplug the headset cable from the bottom of the controller, and then reconnect it firmly.
Check the mute button on the headset controls to make sure the headset isn’t muted.
Increase the audio. If you're using a headset plugged into the 3.5mm port, go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories, and then select your controller to adjust your audio options.
Try using a different controller or headset to check for a hardware malfunction.
Make sure you have the latest software: Update your Xbox Wireless Controller

True, true, but for my tv, the voice is muffled beyond belief. The only time I can make it out is if I put my headset on.

It's a headset for voice chat, but I think this guy is talking about gaming headsets, where both voice chat and game audio come thru.

Headset adapter only deals with voice chat. Check your xbox connections and other hardware for your headset.
