    always connected my Xbox 360 to the internet via my phone hotspot.

    My old internet provider was a lil slow, so I changed it. Today I passed to the new one, and my console doesn't connect anymore giving me "mtu error".

    I already tried clearing cache, resetting internet settings and looking online for other solutions. Some dude who had mtu error and posted it here solved it by clearing system updates, but it didn't work for me. Now I have an offline unapdated Xbox 360. How do I connect it? Help me please

    AAAaaaarrrrggghhh!! = XBox Live MTU issue !!

    No, I think the MTU message in this instance is just a last ditch error message, it isn't really complaining about MTU I think its really saying "I can't connect to live.. " and just gives an MTU error as it doesn't know how else to describe it.

    A lot of Xbox MTU error messages are nothing to do with MTU just a failure to connect :)

    when i restart the modem it comes and do the test it comes up with LIVE connection error then when i try it again it goes back to MTU error
