    MSFS2024 Console upgrade - Beta enrollment on new console


    I have an Xbox Series S and joined the insider program to be able to play Flight Sim 2024 - System Update 1 which has way better scenery, water effects and fixed the mouse look around bug and have been playing it for a little over a week.

    Upgraded to an Xbox Series X for better performance. Using the same account for both consoles. I downloaded the insider app for the new Series X and attempted to join the SU1 Beta but it’s stuck on “pending”, “taking longer than expected try again later” loop. I thought maybe it was because the older S was already enrolled so I tried un-enrolling the S from the beta program using the “leave beta” button on the MSFS2024 screen and the settings/console page.

    Both the S and X are now stuck on the “pending” loop. I’ve restarted both consoles and opened the game on both. S still has SU1 and the X still has the Alpha.

    How long does this usually take, I’m new to Beta testing?

    I followed the instructions online. Was there as easier way to do this?

    Beta issue

    Deleting anything on your older console won't affect your enrollment in the beta. Only the console that first ran the registration application can download any sort of beta updates. New consoles are no longer being accepted into the program. Folks with new
    consoles would need to wait until this dashboard update goes public later this year (Fall 2013).

    Hey Merry,

    I can only give beta forum access to the profile that enrolled in the beta program.

    With the Beta dashboard on your console, there isn't a way to get it off or to remove you from the program.

    If you can let us know the Gamertag on your console that is enrolled in the beta, we can look into getting that profile access to the beta forums.

    Upgraded from a Xbox One 500GB to Xbox One 1TB and was already Enrolled in the New experience but Now my new console wont enroll

    Hey there fellow gamer because you upgraded your console you will have to re-enroll in the preview program due to the new serial number on your new console. Right now the preview program is at full capacity may be diffucult to get back in.

    The reason you can't make purchases on your new console is because it does not have the dashboard beta.

    You will only be able to purchase content on the console that has the beta update.

    If you want to beta test Xbox console updates, then just download the Xbox insiders app, and enroll the console from there.
