MSFS2020 not loading due to Xbox gaming services giving error 0x8007199F

cannot start MSFS2020 due to Microsoft store opening with xbox gaming services trying to load although it is already installed, result is error message 0x8007139F

Would really like to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling game for obvious reasons.

To confirm, do you only have an issue with the game MSFS2020? How about your other games? Does the error “Gaming Services not installed “ show on all of the games you try to play?

I have not had any issue with connecting to the server with MSFS2020 on the Xbox X since the launch date.

I am now reinstalling MSFS2020 and will try again and give an update

Sometimes the update gets interrupted, due to connectivity issues, this may cause some data not to fully load for the game, which will give game error. Uninstall and reinstall, should fix.

Have you tried running a repair on it though as opposed to the reinstall? Certainly agree that Gaming Services is the fulcrum here as it does seem to be a dependency. Perhaps worth trying to get that re-installed independent of MSFS2020 first before attempting to reinstall MSFS2020?
