MSFS2020 made my sound for the computer off

Hi I have personally found out whatever anyone says the best thing to do after a crash of the MSFS2020 is to uninstal in XBox Games and reinstal. Yet you will have to sit thru the 137GB of data to reinstal and any scenery files you had but it will work again till the next time they decide to update something. Its a MICROSOFT and XBOX issue. It is NOT your computer or you whatever they may make it sound like when repplying to your querry. And if you happen to have WINDOWS 10 STAY ON WINDOWS 10 till the very last. I had upgraded to Windows 11 and my computer literally went to an unending loop of BSOD till I had to buy a Windows 11 OEM disk to rectify the issue. Not worth it brother. MSFS2020 is full of corrupt files!!!!

Not that I am aware of. The game still plays on the laptop. Can't seem to contact anyone at Microsoft; just this forum, so thanks for the idea.

I have an annual subscription to Office 365 too and no mention of that on downloads or library either (but it keeps working too!)

just as additional thing to check.

Did you have a Game pass subscription that allowed you to download the game?

If so then the subscription may have ended, which will result in not being able to download (or play) the game.

Please access Microsoft account | Home and make sure the game appears on the order history. If it's there and you are still facing the issue the best option would be to get in touch with the online chat support for further assistance. Access Contact us | Xbox Support, follow the instructions after clicking on the green button "Contact us" and choose to get help from an online chat agent. Make sure the region on the support website is set to your correct region in order not to find issues with the steps. to
