MSFS stuck on decompressing 'Microsoft-aircraft-a310-300-1.1.3.fspackage

I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trouble when trying to install Microsoft Flight Simulator. Let’s try to sort this out.

However, before that, I would like to ask some questions:
Are you on Windows 10, 11, or Xbox?
What procedures you tried to fix this prior to your post creation?

After deleting all the files that had NOT been decompressed, I ran MSFS again and although it took a while to download all the files again it successfully decompressed them all and MSFS started running.

my machine is: 64gb Mem, 7tb Disk space A, gigabyte 1060 6gb GPU and an AMD 5600 CPU running Windows 11 Pro.

How do you find the files that are not decompressed?

Many of the packages are quite large and the amount of time it takes entirely depends on the speed of your computer and your hard drive and your Internet connection

but now am totally stuck on on Decompressing pc-fs-base-bigfiles-0.1.59.fspackage and it just closes the game and nothing else .
