MSFS: Premium Deluxe Edition - MS Store (PC) download error 0x803fb107

Unable to download and install MSFS: Premium Deluxe Edition - download error 0x803fb107.

MS Xbox help is none existent - when I try to schedule a callback, the 'virtual agent response is "Something went wrong on our end. We’re working on it."

There is no option to discuss the issue with support!

To resolve the issue I have conducted the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart the installation
   
2. Sign out and sign in of Windows, confirm date, & time zone is correct
   
3. Update Windows
   
4. Sign out of MS Store, Reboot and resign in MS Store
   
5. Try installing game from my library
   
6. Run Windows Store Troubleshooter
   
7. Clear store cache Using wsreset command
   
8. Reset Store app
   
9. Delete Windows Store local cache file:
   

C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

Reboot and try installing game from Library

10. Make sure Gaming services & Xbox Identity Provider is installed Xbox Identity Provider:

Uninstall remains of gaming service

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Install Gaming service:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

11. Repair/Reset gaming Services & App Installer

12. Run PowerShell command to re-register store:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

13. Run SFC /SCANNOW in Command Prompt (as Administrator)



14. Check for necessary services: Windows Store is dependent on some Services. Check if the services are running and Automatic as given below:

Right-click Start>Run and Type in Services.msc to open Services.

Make sure the status of the following services is Automatic and running

i. Windows License Manager

ii. Background Intelligence Transfer service

iii. Cryptographic Services

iv. Windows Update

v. Windows Store



If something is not as intended, you can try Restoring default services

15. Repair install: The last Resort is a reinstallation of Windows. A repair install keeps everything including your apps and files.

16. Open PowerShell as Administrator

Type in: chkdsk C: /f

17. Restart the computer.

After the above steps, issue remains.
