MSFS crashes midway through the loading screen.

So I downloaded MSFS yesterday. When it finished the download on the xbox app I loaded it up and everything was going fine until it hit 53%. at this point it was loading the world data. just after it hit 53% it crashed without any sort of notification telling me it crashed and I'm confused. (heres the crash report if it helps.) I've tried clearing the cache, my drivers are up to date, my windows is up to date, ive deleted and reinstalled the game (4 times) and ive tried downloading the game to a completely clean folder. there's a few other small things chatgpt told me to do but none works and I cant remember what they were. just a heads up im also not very tech savvy so yeah.

The behavior of the game crashing or freezing at 53% while loading world data seems to be a common issue with MSFS 2024.

One possible solution I found on a MSFS thread is to disconnect the PC from the internet (you can simply unplug your internet router) and wait a few seconds then plug it back in and try launching the game again. Here is a link to the thread:

We cannot down load MSFS it keeps crashing!!!

If you have a friend or relative with a copy of l4d2 for 360 you can try installing the game with their disc, it will reduce the strain on your disc enough to make it load again. Could try with your own disc but it sounds pretty banged up, with the whole
tooth paste thing make sure it is the classic stuff, it wont work if it has the little strips in it. worst case scenario you either have to get a new copy or pay $5 or so to get it resurfaced.
