msfs controls

My controller is an Amazon Luna and it works fine with MSFS on my Samsung Smart TV and with all other games on my PC

But MSFS crashes if I open with the controller already paired with my pc or if I connect after opening the simulator

It is almost impossible to control within MSFS with a keyboard

MY Luna is running with the latest updates

Any suggestions?

For other infos, I play Msfs on cloud gaming and I only have a wireless controler

Additional information is needed, please answer the following questions to assist you properly:

Are you playing on Xbox or PC or via cloud gaming?
if it's on Xbox, what model do you have?
If it's on PC, are you using windows 10 or 11?
Are you trying to play with an accessory , mouse+keyboard or with a controller?
And, what did you tried so far to fix this problem?

In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Hi Robert,

since the Saitek controller is not directly supported by MSFS 2020, you have to create your own profile (Main Menu -> Controller).

There was a link to a youtube video earlier in that thread, that shows how to to that. Basically you tell MSFS which button/axis on your controller, is mapped to which action in flight sim.

So there is some manual work to do, but after that it works great without any crashes.

Thank you. Carried out what you advised. Worked temporarily then Msfs downloaded 40 th Ed. Loss of mouse control happened again. Control only via hand controller and keyboard. Is there a software issue that MS are working on?
