MSFS controller profile issue

The firmware on my controller was reverted successfully but the controls for the game still don't work.

Hello Nat3TheGrea, I don't know if it's playing on pc or console, however you can try to do a version of the control firmware to see if it does a reset in the internal settings.

the only things that work are the d-pads but they dont help because when i try to delete the blank profile it doesnt seem to select the delete button

Hi Robert,

since the Saitek controller is not directly supported by MSFS 2020, you have to create your own profile (Main Menu -> Controller).

There was a link to a youtube video earlier in that thread, that shows how to to that. Basically you tell MSFS which button/axis on your controller, is mapped to which action in flight sim.

So there is some manual work to do, but after that it works great without any crashes.

Completely odd! Are you only having issues with MSFS?

Nope. One of my friends is having the same issue and a handful I’ve seen on the MSFS forums with the exact same issue. Asobo hasn’t done anything for half a year, so I’m trying to find a way to contact a Microsoft person to just wipe that game’s data from my profile.
