    MSFS - cannot install on PC with German Language Setting


    Hello.

    Im trying since hours to install MSFS to my PC. Mind you i have already flown in the Alpha version withiout this problem.

    It downloaded a few gigabyte but now it got stuck at the message where it tells me that its installing the English-US pack. But i have that already installed. Sadly the installation doesnt continue from this point on.

    What can i do?

    Think I understand the problem now !

    Indeed the game supports german language as well, yet your console region should be set to Germany and your default language should be set to german in order to play Dishonored in that language.

    Ok thank you, that actually solved my problem! :)

    The game apparently defaults to French when the language is set to English (and only French and German are available languages for the game).

    My region was set to Germany for some time but my console was always set to English. And the game always defaulted to French. So the game doesn't care about my region settings and only checks the language settings. When changing the console/system language to German the game is also German (English is not an option and when set as the system language changes the games language to French).

    Hi,

    I had this for a long time and today i was finaly able to resolve this.

    These are the Steps that helped in my case, maybe they will help in your case to:

    - Open the Settings App in Wndows 10

    - Click on "Time & Language"

    - Click on "Region & language"

    - Check the installed languages

    In my case 3 Languages were installed. German, Japanese and English (in this Order!)

    -> i guess "Forza Hub" is not localized for German, so it took the next Language which was Japanese.

    -> by changing the Order and putting English as the second Language, Forza Hub now uses English.

    It looks like you have ended up with the wrong copy of the game, if you specifically brought the German Language Version and have ended up with the French version you will have to contact the seller and request an exchange, as the language settings cannot
    be changed in game.
