    MSFS and MSFS VR Running Poorly


    Hi,

    I have a pretty decent system right now.

    Skytech Archangel

    Ryzen 5 3600

    RTX 3050

    16GB RAM (added extra 8gb)

    It runs awful, screen mode and VR. Whenever I move too suddenly everything gets all glitchy and blocky. I don't understand. I have been having constant problems ever since I got my PC. I've tried all the optimization settings and OpenXR, but it just won't work. My NVIDIA drivers are all up to date. Please help.

    A 3050 will definitely have problems with VR. Remember that you’re rendering everything twice. 70 series is pretty much minimum

    make sure you are wired for internet, it streams a lot of the assets, also the rtx 3050 is a budget gpu and it will have a hard time with that sim and vr.

    Tried MSFS 2020 using Parallels 16 (configured to use 6 cores and 32gb ram) on 2018 Mac Mini, 64gb Ram, Blackmagic eGpu Pro (Radeon Vega 56). Even though at MSFS program launch it says computer does not meet min specs, it does launch. However runs very
    poorly. So no go under windows virtualization.

    Ok. That allowed MSFS to start. Now MSFS is giving me a message that a required update is needed and to update from the Microsoft store. But I've run the updates from the store and it says everything is up to date and MSFS doesn't give me an option to trigger a manual update.

    So now what?
