-Install Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 on x86 and x64 architecture (if your processor has x64 architecture, install both, not just one)

Tip: If it shows that it's already installed, select the option to remove it. Then install both again. But it is necessary to remove previously.

-Install Visual Studio 2013 on x86 and x64 architecture (if your processor has x64 architecture, install both, not just one)

Tip: If it shows that it's already installed, select the option to remove it. Then install both again. But it is necessary to remove previously.

-Install Visual Studio 2012 on x86 and x64 architecture (if your processor has x64 architecture, install both, not just one)

Restart the system, reinstale the game and test.

Once again thanks for the reply. I have since purchased TSW 2020 and still get a CTD at launch splash screen. I just can’t figure out why it won’t work. I have MSFS 2020 installed and despite the issues after updates I can still play it, TSW is not as graphically intense as that!

I'm Anirban and I'll be happy to help you.

These two dlls are need to be downloaded from the browser, it's there you can just type the name like "vcruntime140.dll", after that you need to put these into the system32 folder. If you need I can share you the links of the two dlls where to be downloaded.

Thanks for the photos. It seems like the files VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll are either missing or corrupted. I suggest installing Microsoft Visual
C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 as these files are part of the package and should resolve the issue.

CTD on Return to Main Menu - every time. Even after starting in Safe Mode. I have even done a complete PC reset yesterday (i.e. reinstalled clean copy of Win 10).
