MSFS 2020 and Xbox Game Pass for PC and VR Support

I did this for Forza Horizon, never had a problem because I nevercnever Game Pass. I do think you'll lose access to the game is you drop Game Pass, though. You'll likely get everything back if you have Game Pass or buy the base game later.

Did everything unlock for you with the premium deluxe upgrade, then?

Unfortunately there’s no way to upgrade from standard to a more extensive edition of a game, such as ultimate, deluxe, premium etc. So you would need to purchase the upgraded version separately.

In regards to your second question, the only currently confirmed headset, that will be supported in game, is the upcoming HP Reverb G2.

There will be a free VR game update, available to all MSFS 2020 players. So you won’t need the upgraded edition for this.

I have MSFS installed through XBOX games for windows beta and when I go to the in-game market place I have the option of buying the premium deluxe upgrade for AU$127.95 (premium deluxe normally costs AU$179.95)

I'm concerned what will happen if I let my xbox game for PC sub lapse. Anyone know what will happen?

Unfortunately no VR support games at the moment. Currently RE7 on Game Pass PC, does not support VR.
