MS Ultimate Word Games causes laptop to overheat after only 2 or 3 minutes!

My laptop IS getting a little old but it is well-ventilated and can cope with most stuff, including Netflix. However, after only 2 or 3 minutes playing Ultimate Word Games it overheats badly and just gets worse until it eventually crashes (blue screen).
Solitaire doesn't affect laptop so badly, only slightly. Any suggestions, as I really like this game and also like my laptop!! Thanks

overheat

my xbox overheats after 10-15 minutes of gameplay. It shuts off when it overheats and 2 lights flash and sometimes even 3. i tried getting the dust out of it but i still don't know what else to do

I can not get Just Cause 2

The other day I was looking for games to buy on my laptop and I saw Just Cause 3 and I saw that you could get Just Cause 2 if you bought 3 as well. So I went and Bought Just Cause 3XL off my laptop.. Does this make it so I can not get Just Cause 2?

Sorry to hear about the issue! The best advice we can offer in this scenario is to make sure your Windows PC is fully up-to-date and to try deleting the game off of your Windows PC and reinstall it. To check for updates on your Windows 10 PC, try searching
'Check for updates' from the Start Menu. Be sure to run all updates that are available if applicable.

Next let's uninstall the game by opening the Start Menu (press the Windows key on your laptop to get here quickly), and then scroll through the list of apps until you find Ultimate Word Games. From here, right click the tile to remove the app, and then redownload
the game through the Windows Store.

Still nothing.. download stuck at 0% then after about 2 minutes "cannot download dragonborn DLC". It also just took me about 10 minutes to download a 2mb update for skyrim... I'm lost for words as the laptop i use in the same room about 2 meters from the
xbox has a very fast connection..

I've the same error 0x87DD0005 with Ultimate word games, here in Paris (France). I've rebooted my PC without success, I've uninstalled and installed again this game and also made a reset of Xbox One. All this was unsuccessful. This problem appeared 3 hours
ago. It's after I've done the Windows update KB4093105, but I'm not sure it's this that is the cause. I've no problem with Solitaire Collection, only with Ultimate Word Games.

Does anyone know more, thanks.

I've also tried Wordament on my Windows Phone Lumia 950 and I've the same problem as with Ultimate word games on the PC, but Windows Solitaire Collection it's working correctly on the smartphone. Therefore, this problem isn't linked with the windows update
I've had on my PC.

1. Update the game to its latest version.

2. Reset the game from settings menu.
