MS Sudoku crashes in Windows 10

MS Sudoku started crashing when I open it about a week or two ago. It seemed to improve briefly after a Win 10 update on Jan 17, 2017. It started crashing consistently a day after that update. The error is consistent. It is listed in the Event Viewer under
Windows Logs - Application Logs:

This morning, I was able to play one game in the Daily Challenge. At its end, I got the usual crash:

I have uninstalled it, rebooted, and reinstalled it. I have run Malwarebytes Scan, isolated files, shut down rebooted, and reinstalled MS Sudoku. I have gone to the store, clicked on my profile and checked for updates. there was none. MS Solitaire has worked
fine every day during the same period, BTW.

Microsoft Sudoku crashes in Windows 10. Just started since the first of the year likely tied to an upgrade of the windows 10. Any thoughts?

Windows 10, Microsoft Sudoku Crashes even after reinstall

Windows 10, Microsoft Sudoku Crashes even after reinstall and reboot, have done a wsreset and deleted the registry entry for my id. Still Crashes.

updated?

Next, is it possible to try Sudoku on another Windows 10 PC at all? Or are you able to sign into your PC as a guest and try the game on a different profile?

Additionally, providing us with a screenshot of your computer's DXDiag will help a bunch. You can press the 'Windows' key on your keyboard and type in 'dxdiag' and it should pop up. If you need further
assistance with this step, you can find instructions

I have what looks like the same problem. Windows 10 fully up to date Version 1909 Build 18363.535 on a Lenovo laptop.

I can play Solitaire and Mahjong without a problem.

The Sudoku logo should slide off screen to the right, but it doesn't. If I minimize the window Sudoku then crashes. Reliability History says "Sudoku stopped responding and was closed"

I have reported this through Windows Feedback and at Microsoft Casual Games without any response.

Let's have you try uninstalling the app, restart your PC, and then reinstall it to see if there's any change

Ok, I tried to perform a clean boot and I got the problem to change. Sudoku would now crash as it starts (the Sudoku window will appear and then disappear). I tried to reset and then to uninstall/reinstall Sudoku and now I am back to it loading but when
I try to play any game, I get the end screen of the ad and when I close the ad, I go back to the selection screen. Is there a log file somewhere that will tell me what is going on?

I am manually checking for updates and windows has no updates available/pending. I have exited the clean boot (after Sudoku was crashing) and I am ready to try the next troubleshooting step.

One year later, none solution, unable to sign with Microsoft Sudoku and CAN sign with Microsoft Solitaire. Windows 10.
