Who ever said they were going to release at the same time?? Why do you keep banging this drum when as far as I know its never been mooted that this will happen. And for the record if they both released on the same day I would buy them both. A remaster
will have no impact at all on Gears 4 and Gears 4 hasn't even been given a speculative release window.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition is just a remaster of the first game. You would have to purchase the other games if you want to play them.

1. Remastering anything but the first one is just silly.

2. Who is this "Nobodoy" you speak of? He apparently wants only the first game remastered.

 

The remaster will come before the new title I suspect to whet a few appetites. The development time on it will be nothing like the development time of a completely new title.

 

Personally I think the first one is just fine as it is, but whatever. I can see how it would get people hyped up for 4, but wouldn't it be a stark reminder that poor Dom isn't with us anymore? Not that I really care.

 

The remastered Gears of War is not going to drop at the same time as Gears 4. But perhaps a little bit before Gears of War 4 to build anticipation

With that said. I would love all 3 remastered. And I am hoping Xbox is just keeping it on the low. But I doubt it

 

Do 2 & 3 really need to be remastered? They actually look pretty decent!

Then again I'm the least pickiest person about graphics quality. The enemies could be big blobs of pixels and I wouldn't care.

 

@Genchy when did i say that? I said in my post it isnt going to happen thats how its going to impact.

Dev time is irrelevant its release windows, why do we not have a new AC game every 6 months because people dont want 2 of the same game within 6 months.

Whatever the release for gears 4 was a remaster is only going to push it back. Unless they werent planning to release ti until 2017 which is unlikely.

 

This would be like a remastered version of Fallout 3 being announced at E3 in place of Fallout 4. I'd rage quit gaming if that happened.

 

I have no clue what your trying to say Boas, you keep saying something wont happen that no one has said is happening, so I give up trying to remotely understand what your point about this is.

 

Would love at e3 that they annouce that gears remaster is available now like they did with dead rising add on still have them on 360 but darn is the condole disc drive noisy

 

And Boas I think you will find it will happen. The remake is in production and the new title is in development by Black Tusk. I will even take a bet with you if you like?
