MS not willing to let you Play Elder Scrolls Online without a Gold Subscription!

Yes i do not like the Subscription model too, but why can't MS be a little mor Open on such things? If they want to keep up with Sony they have to come up with something and i don't mean bringin a new Gears or whatever.^^

The Elder Scrolls Online & Destiny Monthly Subscriptions

I heard that Bethesda is talking to MS about not needing gold for multiplayer on Elder Scrolls Online, not sure if they are true or not..

Haven't hard anything about needing a subscription for Destiny though.

No news on Xbox ONE yet but a "PlayStation Plus membership is not required to play The Elder Scrolls Online. PS4 players will only be required to pay the same monthly subscription associated with The Elder Scrolls Online that PC and Mac users will pay—nothing
more". Microsoft are under pressure to match Sony on this now.

Yeah so what? The same goes for Sony and the PSN and there you can play without PS+ so i think Gamers with both systems will choose the PS4 version, that means lower sales for the One.

 

Not getting this game because of the subscription fee and to justify €15 a month for a game I would want to be on it constantly which is not going to happen. It may be the norm for PC players to pay subscription for MMO's but I am predicting this not doing
well on consoles because of this fee. Pay 60 for this and 180 for the year. That is over half the cost of a PS4 or the cost of 4 games. That's just my opinion though I am sure there are people who thinks it is reasonable and will pay it.

 

Ms does not have to keep up with sony. They a multi BILLION dollar company. Love both consoles but facts are facts.

I did not mean Moneywise, why do think there where mor PS4 peordered than Xbone's because of the Money? Reputation is the key here! Don't get this wrong either, i love my One and for now im really satisfied with it, yes it need's som tweaks here and there
but it is really nice. But i am a Fan from the original Xbox. Other maybe ar not so loyal. You have to see the bigger thing here

The reason your last thread on this subject was locked is because you turned a discussion about "The Elder Scrolls Online" into a Comparisson Thread between XBox LIVE and whatever Sony use.



If you do that again then the Moderating Team will simply lock this thread again for that reason.



It's a worth while topic for discussion so try to leave the comparissons out of it.



£8.99 is not something I'm willing to pay on a monthly basis for this, especially if the game is full price at release.



Discussion of the Monthly Fee is forbidden on Bethesda's official Forums however they have hinted that there could be a discount for committing to multiple months which could bring the monthly fee down to something worth committing to, as long as they also
drop the price of the actual game.

Oh so it is forbidden to compare the different systems that are on the market or what other companies offer in relation to MS? LOL nice maybe then maybe i should never post anything here again because that is rediculous on so many ways!

Dunno. It could be that the X1 is offered in 13 countries as opposed to forty something I think???

It is against the forum rules to create comparison threads, or turn a discussion into a comparison thread. This rule is in place because comparison threads usually only lead to console wars and rants about which console has the better specs or fps. I will
leave this thread unlocked so long as the set discussion point remains the focus. That being elder scrolls and gold membership. There is no need at all to bring in other console manufactures.



Do not discuss topics that are not related to Xbox or the topic of the forum. This includes creating comparison threads involving other console manufactures.
