MS not Covering me despite my console not being under Warranty

I Have a X1X i bought @ Amazon its a few months old, its started giving funny issues when i tried to log a repair it said that my console is under warranty but MS doesnt cover my region, i spoke to MS agent which said that i have to pay R3500 to have the
console swopped out, im finding this very wierd as i have logged my X1S in the past and they switched it no problems, i also have 2 friends in the same region who had there consoles switched out in the last few weeks with no issues they also told me that on
there profile it shows they have a 3 year warranty with MS but yet mine only shows a year which expires in 2019, i have tweeted this issue to Xboxsupport and they dont even reply to me regarding anything and the MS consultants wont help me but in the same
breath they say that they will send me a list of free games i can try via email which doesnt help me at all, im im ba in South Africa please assist me with a way forward as the return period to Amazon has expired

If MS doesnt cover my region then why are they selling consoles in South Africa at almost every retailer that does tech and tech sales

If it's not under warranty, I believe the rate through MS is $100 (a rip off), but don't quote me on that. If it's under warranty, it won't cost you anything. When you purchased your 360, it was scanned at the register, so MS knows when that console was
bought. If you registered your console, things will be easier.

 

Xbox one s not starting up. Giving error code e101 00000504 8b050041

I have already logged my complaint with ms one week agoand SR # is1436472059. My console is under warranty however there is no resolution given yet.

Xbox is not booting up after last update and i m also not able to update the console offline. Getting error code e101 00000504 8b050041.

If you purchased the console directly from Amazon and not one of there sellers there customer service is very good and they should be able to help you. If you purchased from one of there sellers then I would contact them to seen what they can do to help
and if you have any problems doing this then Amazon themselves should be able to assist.

But normally MS should help me shouldnt they and why is my console not showing a 3 year warranty as its a registered MS product and they do cover our region but just failing to cover my console

Its very sad that MS is shutting the door on me with no real reasoning as my friends are being covered and i can provide proof if they want me to easily

The console wouldn't have a 3 year warranty. It should have a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase.

If it was purchased as new from an authorised retailer.

So yes like i say was purchased from Amazon US and other friends in my region who has Xbox one X shows 3 years on there profile like i say i can prove this

 

So the console was purchgased in the US and shipped to another country. That may be your issue. Im sure the warranty is only valid in the purchasing region

Ive never seen a console covered for 3 years. My own is cover until 2019

That message you got indicates you are out of the consoles purchase region therefore the warranty is not valid like I said earlier

 

Inthink it was announced at E3 that X1X will have a 3 year warranty please see previous pic i uploaded
