MS Movies & TV Issue

I am attempting to purchase a movie or TV show through the MS Movies & TV app on Xbox One. Keep getting error codes every time I try to purchase a Rental or Buy a Movie outright. Yet I have no problem purchasing games, add-ons, or anything else at Xbox One
store.. It's just the MS Movies & TV app that is not allowing me to purchase anything. Any ideas why that might be or what I'm doing wrong?

Sky TV subscription at no extra cost until 1 Feb 2012

I currently access Sky on my 360, but Ive noticed in MS T&Cs it says "Sky TV Customers: Live TV and on-demand content available on Xbox 360 in line with your Sky TV subscription at no extra cost until 1 Feb 2012.
To watch Sky Movies and/or Sky Sports on-demand you must take Sky Movies 1&2 and/or Sky Sports 1&2."

So after the 1st Feb are MS going to start charging Sky customers who access their package through Xbox 360?

 

MS to join Movies Anywhere for Xbox and Win 10

Microsoft's version of their movie store is called "Microsoft Movies & TV", and MS is now joining Movies Anywhere. It means every movie you purchased on MS Movies & TV will now sync to Movies Anywhere, which is a service you can access at places like Android/iOS.

As of right now, I don't see it in Xbox store, but currently you can sync MS Movies and TV to Movies Anywhere on your phone. When it does come available, it will allow you to access your digital movies from iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, Amazon Video, and etc. on your Xbox and Win10. As of right now, all major movie outlets support it, Disney, 20th Fox, Universal, Sony, WB, etc.

Apparently MS was last major holdout, but now we're suppose to get it for Xbox and Win10 for US customers. This is gonna be nice having an all in one service, and gonna be more incline to purchase digital, cause my biggest hangup with limited accessibility.

They say MS removed some promo page, so they haven't officially unveiled it yet:

can you tell us the error codes that you receive when trying to purchase or rent a Movie?

It may indicate something.

Is your console set to the same region as your account and you are physically in?

My console "location" is set to Canada. I live in Canada. The language preference is set to English - U.S. (otherwise I could not use my Kinect and Cortana, which I like using) This should have no bearing though, as I can purchase everything at the Xbox/Microsoft
store with these settings. It is only MS Movies & TV that I can't purchase within.
