MS Flight Simulator - on start up doesn't respond at all for up to one minute when it says...

Hi Roberto,

What you're experiencing can happen when FSX is reloaded onto another computer or hardware has been changed. The usual message that comes up at the end of thirty minutes is:

"Thank you for trying Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The trial time limit has expired. Please activate Flight Simulator to continue playing."

However, you're saying that FSX doesn't recognize your Product Key. Have you previously entered your Product Key and this message comes up or does the message as I have quoted above, come up?

Good luck setting up controls if you have good ones. I'm a real world pilot and have Cirrus Yoke, MFG Crosswind rudder pedals, and GoFlight Console panel and GoFlight autopilot. I have worked on and off for weeks now trying to get any of these to work and
have even gotten the GoFlight Interface Tool and tried that, and the beta Fsupic7 to set up controls. Shouldn't have to go thru all this just to get a flight simulator to recognize your controls. I started back in the 80's with the first MS flight simulators
and presently fly on Prepar3d. So, every once and a while when I feel like trying again I try and set the controls up so I can fly.

I think 8GB RAM is insufficient, you need 16GB. Your CPU isn't too bad, but the GT730 doesn't meet the minimimu spec at all. The game recommends a minimum of the old GTX 770 which is at least 5x faster than your card.

As for potential games for the Xbox One, I would love to see Microsoft Flight simulator in some form.

Submenu controls (which is a huge part of the flight sim) could be brought up with voice commands.

For example, say radio. the radio stack comes up. Tune to flight centers. Get IFR frequencies for landing. etc.

Or how about a PC quality Civ or Rome Total War game for the console? That would be awesome!

I've just encountered the same problem after a ZoneAlarm and Flight Simulator update.

When I try to start FS, nothing happens at all. I've found the solution is to turn off Zone Alarm Anti Ransomware before starting Flight Simulator. You can turn it back on once FS has started.
