MS Flight Simulator 2020 Load Time, Memory Usage

I have purchased MS Flight Simulator 2020 Deluxe Edition (v 1.9.3.0)

It occupies 103 GB on my hard drive.

Loading time until I see the option 'press any key to start' is 2 minutes 4 seconds.

Then I see the Fuji Mountain for a long time. Pressing any key will do nothing at that time.

Then Japan-related options appear on the screen giving you no options to by-pass this screen also.

Memory usage is at nearly 5GB (and counting) after passing this step and arriving at the main screen.

It causes a lot of heating in my Microsoft Surface Book 2. Fan starts cooling.

I start a challenge flight from Breckenbridge to Yosemite Mariposa, FS shows a world map view of the route for a long time. I cannot also bypass this session because it freezes. Then 'ready to fly' screen comes over.

Memory usage is at 7.5GB (78%) and counting and I need to exit the app because my laptop will crash due to memory drain.

Is something wrong with FS 2020 or am I doing something wrong?
