MS doesn't care about quality, head sets are garbage

Since MS doesn't provide any personal email communication for customers to air out their grievances I suppose this forum is as good as any. After an hour and a half of searching it's clear that Microsoft doesn't care about the issues caused by their sub
par head sets which seem to stop working from the slightest tug on the wire, or sometimes for no reason at all. There are countless threads about people who have purchased new microphones and controllers to resolve these issues as well, and have even gone
as far as to have their consoles replaced in hopes of solving the issue to no avail. Considering gaming has evolved to a point where most of us expect to be able to make use of multiplayer chat functionality this is completely unacceptable.

What makes this issue immensely more infuriating and pathetic on MS's end is that the xbox 360 had comparatively priced wireless blue tooth microphones that rarely if ever had any technical issues associated with them. As a customer I'm insulted by the complete
lack of concern for the quality of MS head sets for the XB1. If any of you ESL outsourced customer service lemmings actually read this please forward my contempt to someone who does more than give people the run around until they get frustrated and buy a Playstation.

BF4 is still garbage....DICE doesn't care, EA really doesn't care...Just one lie upon another...

 

My day 28 headset still works fantastic! Thanks MS! (for those that can't count, it's worked flawlessly for over 3 years now)

 

Why rely on email when you can
directly chat or
phone a toll free number or
Twitter to actual Xbox Support Agents?

Also using Twitter makes your concern more public to the masses than this forum post.

But in regards to your headsets: Just like Goth Vampirella I have two Headsets. One I got with my Day One console, and one I bought separately with a second controller for my wife on basically the same date.

Both headsets are now in use since November 2013 and haven't failed me in any way.

Seeing "countless" posts on the internet about broken headsets is no indication of a problem, as there are even more "countless" users with working headsets, that don't need to post in a forum to say "Hey guys, just wanted to tell you my headset is still
working! I'll update you tomorrow, if my headset is still working."

So you only see posts about broken headsets but never posts about working headsets.

I know it's frustrating when something breaks. But simply contact the official support via the links provided above to get your headset replaced (and shhh... if you're nice enough, the agent can sometimes replace the headset for free even if it's out of
warranty, but you haven't heard that from me. It worked for replacing my 360 headset, when my cat chewed through the cable.)

 

Yep,the headset that came with my day one console is working perfectly fine still,over 3 years since I got it.

 

Erm..................don't think the 360 had Bluetooth did it?
